CPAP Care Privacy Policy
The short version: CPAP Care has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, and no analytics. Everything you enter — your equipment, replacement dates, cleaning dates, and reminder settings — stays on your phone. We never see it.
What stays on your device
All of the app's data is stored locally on your phone and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else:
- The equipment you track and its replacement and cleaning intervals
- The dates you mark parts as replaced or cleaned, and that history
- Reminder preferences (time of day, heads-up lead time, badge)
Deleting the app deletes this data. There is no backup to our servers and no way for us to recover it.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device by the app itself. We do not run a notification server and never send push notifications. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
Health information
CPAP Care does not connect to your CPAP machine, does not read therapy data, and does not collect any medical or health information. It only keeps the maintenance dates you type in, on your device.
App updates
The app periodically checks Expo's update service (EAS Update) for bug fixes and improvements. These requests contain basic, non-identifying technical information (such as app version and platform) needed to serve the right update. See Expo's privacy policy.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad networks
- No analytics or tracking SDKs
- No accounts, email addresses, or personal identifiers
- No location access, no contacts, no HealthKit
- No selling or sharing of data — there is nothing to sell
Children
CPAP Care is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
